Head IT Systems Analyst is a key analytical resource that is a part
of Enterprise Applications team They play a crucial role in
ensuring that the technological systems and infrastructure within
our organization are efficient, effective, and aligned with
business objectives. General responsibility areas for this position
include:--- Business and IT Process analysis and assessment---
Requirements gathering, analysis and documentation--- System Design
and Analysis--- Project Management Support--- Implementation
Support (incl. Testing/QA)--- Troubleshooting Support & Continuous
ImprovementFocus for this position will be centered on Data
Management and Modeling to support the collection, processing and
storage of data to support Business analytic requirements. Specific
responsibilities for this position include:--- Acting as Data
Modeler/ Data Analyst/Data Steward for an Agile Data Engineering
team utilizing data streaming technologies (Apache Kafka & Flink)
to populate a central data warehouse (Clickhouse dB) supporting
corporate reporting and analytic needs via Tableau--- Assessment of
Business analytic requirements and subsequent data collection and
processing requirements to support Business reporting needs via
Tableau--- Providing relationship management support between IT and
multiple Business units, including Operations (Manufacturing &
Distribution), Operations Planning, Sales and Business Insights.Job
Description:Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBusiness and IT
Process analysis and assessmentDevelops and maintains a thorough
understanding of business operations, identifying opportunities for
operational efficiency through automation and effective utilization
of reporting & analytics tools critical for all business
areas.Works collaboratively with IT and the Business resources to
assess people, process, and technology current states, working to
evaluate tradeoffs between usability and performance needs, and
then utilize outcomes to develop requirements, use cases and user
stories according to standard templates, using natural language.
Partners with knowledge management leads within Boar's Head to
ensure and maintain consistency on Standard Operating Procedures
and formal Work Instructions that outline use of several
enterprise-wide applications (Ex. Oracle ERP, Oracle Business
Intelligence, Tableau, QMS, LIMS, MES, etc.) utilized in business
processes.Requirement Gathering:Provides thorough understanding of
how to interpret customer business needs; elicits requirements
using interviews/requirements workshops, conducts document
analysis, surveys, site visits, plus task and workflow analysis.
Identifies, documents, and communicates current state of business
process, partnering with Technical Delivery Managers, Business
Analysts, and Developers to recommend future state options.System
Design and Analysis:Adept at outlining current state and designing
conceptual/future state visual process level diagramming and
documentation (in Visio and other more advanced visual modeling
tools) that help articulate options to reduce costs, improve
efficiencies, effectiveness, and streamline execution while keeping
quality norms in alignment.Conduct needs analysis, create user
stories & requirements, manage product backlogs, sign off as
Product Owner, and conduct go-live business testing and
support.Document system requirements, specifications, processes,
and procedures to ensure that they are well-understood by
stakeholders and team members.Document the lineage, usage,
compliance, business logic, quality, access, risk, and value of all
data assets for assigned data sets in accordance with BH policies
and processes.Developing and assisting with implementation of data
strategies and developing physical data models to support corporate
data strategies and enforce company data policies and
proceduresAdept at creating conceptual data models and data flows
using Visio and/or other more advanced visual modeling tools (i.e.
Data Modeling and Visualization)Oversee the integration of
different systems and applications, ensuring seamless communication
and data flow between them.Project Management SupportAssists
Technical Delivery Manager(s) in technical strategy analysis and
assists Project Manager's (PM) in refining project plans/objectives
for delivering technical solutions according to best practice
methodologies and IT process standards.Develops and maintains
necessary project documentation in accordance with best practices
and within the agreed upon project timelines.Partners with the
project manager to define change requests for missed requirements
and scope change, helping maintain the right focus on defined
project constraints (schedule, resources, and
scope/quality).Implementation Support:
Provide support during the implementation phase, ensuring that
systems are properly deployed and configured.Develop test plans and
perform testing to ensure that systems meet quality standards and
functional requirements.Partners with QA and Business teams in
end-to-end integrated systems testingTroubleshooting Support &
Continuous Improvement:
Troubleshoot issues that arise with IT systems, working to resolve
them promptly to minimize downtime and disruption.Provide technical
training materials to ensure systems are maintained/supportedStay
updated on emerging technologies and best practices, recommending
improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT
systems.QualificationsEducation and ExperienceA Bachelor's degree
in Computer Programming/Engineering, MIS, or related field or
equivalent experience.A minimum of 3 years of experience in a
Systems Analyst and/or Data Modeler role to be considered; to
include experience with documenting functional and analytic
requirements, functional specifications, use cases/stories, data
models, data lineage and data flows.Experience with data modeling,
data cleansing and database design is a must.Strong understanding
of data streaming technologies, data aggregation techniques and
data wrangling is a significant plus.Experience within an Agile
centric construct is mandatory (Agile Certifications such as Kanban
or Scrum Master are a plus).Experience with application performance
testing (particularly data streaming performance) is a plusRequires
strong technical skills, including knowledge of systems
architecture, databases, networking, and programming
languages.SkillsTechnology and software skillsPossesses an
understanding and solid capabilities in Data Governance and Data
Quality management is required.Experience with Data Analytics
technologies (i.e. Tableau or equivalent) is required.Solid working
knowledge if SQL (specifically on Oracle dbs) is required.Working
knowledge of any of the following languages is a
plus.JavaRPythonKnowledge of data streaming technologies is a plus.

first shift position but adjustments to shift start/end times may
be required depending on future production support
schedules.On-call Availability during non-business hours is
required at times.After-hours and weekend work is intermittently
