Job Description:

At LifeStance Health, we believe in a truly healthy society where mental and physical healthcare are unified to make lives better. Our mission is to help people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives by improving access to trusted, affordable, and personalized mental healthcare. Everywhere. Every day. It's a lofty goal; we know. But we make it happen with the best team in behavioral health.

Thank you for taking the time to explore a career with us. As the fastest growing behavioral health practice group in the country, now is the perfect time to join our clinical team!

LifeStance Health is hiring a full-time licensed therapist (social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists) with excellent communication skills and clinical acumen to join our Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team!

This position is embedded in an OB/GYN clinic, and the clinician will serve as a core member of the Collaborative Care team as well as the larger medical team. The Collaborative Care Clinician (CCC) will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the mental and physical health care of patients on an assigned patient caseload with the patient's OB/GYN provider and, when appropriate, other mental health professionals. Ideal candidates have experience using empirically supported treatment with women across the adult lifespan, working in a medical setting, and who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Is this you?

  • Serve as a key member of the Collaborative Care team, which consists of the OB/GYN provider and a psychiatric consultant. The CCC will support the mental and physical health care of patients, closely coordinate care with the patient's medical provider, and the psychiatric consultant where appropriate.
  • Have a clearly distinguished role from a specialty mental health therapist practice model.
  • Work with women on presenting concerns across the adult lifespan. These concerns range from pre-conception (e.g., fertility issues), to pregnancy (e.g., anxiety in pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, pregnancy loss), to postpartum (e.g., postpartum depression) through menopause.
  • Employ a population-based practice management model with flexibility to be interrupted to respond to urgent/emergency situations and "curbside consults".
  • Screen/assess patients for mental health conditions common in women, facilitate patient engagement and follow up care with the support of a dedicated behavioral care coordinator.
  • Deliver brief behavioral interventions using evidence-based techniques such as problem-solving treatment, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, or other modalities as appropriate.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled caseload consultation with the psychiatric consultant and communicate resulting treatment recommendations to the patient's medical provider.
  • Track patient engagement and clinical outcomes using a registry.
  • In consultation with the patient, OB/GYN provider, and psychiatric consultant, facilitate treatment plan changes for patients who are not improving as expected and who may need more intensive or more specialized mental health care.
  • Day shift with no call coverage
  • Clinicians who do best in this setting enjoy a quick pace, think well on their feet, and value interdisciplinary work. What we offer:
    • Comprehensive clinical training in the Collaborative Care Model and ongoing clinical consultation and mentorship
    • Dynamic work environment
    • Strong work-life balance
    • Above average compensation
    • Dedicated non-clinical support staff to assist with administrative duties
    • Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and HSA plans
    • 401K Plan with generous employer contribution
    • Telehealth training and support provided
    • Existing health plan participation is not necessary Collaborative Care Clinicians are a critical part of our clinical team. We're seeking those that are:
      • Fully licensed (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT) and credentialed in one or more US states.
      • Experienced in working with adult, and/or child and adolescent populations.

        $70,000 - $105,000 a year
