A Sarasota based client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular
Surgeon to join our prestigious medical facility. As a Vascular
Surgeon, you will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and
surgical management of conditions affecting the vascular system.
Your expertise in this field will play a crucial role in providing
high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success
of this healthcare institution. Required Qualifications Graduated
from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree Current
Florida medical license Completed an accredited residency program
Current DEA certificate Board certified or board eligible 3 years
of experience Current BLS certification Responsibilities Diagnose
and evaluate patients with vascular diseases and disorders through
physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient conditions,
including surgical interventions, medication prescriptions, and
lifestyle modifications. Perform a wide range of surgical
procedures, including vascular bypass surgery, endovascular
interventions, angioplasty, and other minimally invasive
techniques. Conduct pre-operative assessments, educate patients
about surgical procedures, and obtain informed consent. Monitor
patients' progress post-surgery, evaluate outcomes, and make
adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams, including radiologists, anesthesiologists,
nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated
and comprehensive patient care. Stay up-to-date with the latest
advancements in vascular surgery techniques, technologies, and
research to provide state-of-the-art care. Participate in academic
activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and
fellows, as well as conducting clinical research and publishing
scholarly articles. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
of patient consultations, procedures, and treatments. Adhere to
medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and professional
