Flexible Days & Hours (M-F) Minimum 24hr/week Job description ·
Administers physical therapy treatments to patients, working under
direction of a Physical Therapist. · Assists in reporting patient’s
functional skills and gains to determine extent of abilities and
limitations. · Taking objective measures to determine effects of
specific treatments or to assist Physical Therapist to compile data
for initial evaluations/PR. · Carries out Physical Therapist’s
established plan of care for individuals or group treatment as
appropriate. · Administers active and passive therapeutic
exercises, manual therapy, gait training, NMRE, modalities etc ·
Documentation/ Logistics/ Patient Satisfaction · Completes all
required documentation per guidelines and timely. · Competent in
use of EMR for clinical documentation. · Recognize barriers to
admission, respond appropriately and follow up on admissions
variables. · Clean and maintain equipment and clinic environment
Requirements: · Great attitude and a friendly smile · Current and
valid FL Physical Therapy Assistant license · Must have graduated
from an accredited physical therapy assistant program · Team
oriented · Maintain Liability Insurance · Outpatient Ortho/Neuro
experience preferred · Current BLS preferred · Spanish / Vietnamese
speaking a plus
