Job Description:
HCA Florida Largo Hospital, a prominent healthcare facility, is
seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Technician to join our team. The
successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting our
commitment to top-tier medical services by providing expert care
and handling sophisticated medical equipment. This role involves
assisting with cardiovascular procedures, monitoring patient
responses, and maintaining detailed patient records. As part of our
esteemed team, youll leverage state-of-the-art technology to assist
in diagnoses and treatments, contributing to our mission of
enhancing patient outcomes and health in the community. Assist
cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment, including EKG
machines and blood pressure devices. Monitor and record patients’
heart rates and blood pressures during procedures. Prepare patients
for procedures by explaining methods and calming anxieties.
Maintain accurate patient records and procedure logs. Ensure all
cardiovascular equipment is properly sterilized and configured.
Proficiency in operating cardiovascular diagnostic equipment.
Strong understanding of cardiac care procedures and standards.
Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification required.
