Job Description:
HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular
Technician PRN to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position
involves working on an as-needed basis, providing advanced
cardiovascular care within our state-of-the-art facility. Utilizing
the latest in medical technology, the successful candidate will
support the assessment and treatment of cardiac patients, playing a
key role in procedures and the overall delivery of quality
cardiovascular services. Assist in performing diagnostic and
therapeutic procedures such as EKGs, cardiac catheterizations and
other vascular examinations. Prepare patients for procedures by
explaining methodologies and easing patient concerns. Operate and
maintain cardiovascular equipment, ensuring all apparatus are
functioning correctly. Monitor patient vital signs and conditions
during procedures, providing updates to healthcare practitioners.
Document procedural notes and patient data within medical records
accurately and promptly. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
to uphold patient safety and care standards. Collaborate with a
team of healthcare professionals to improve clinical operations and
patient outcomes. Strong practical knowledge of cardiovascular
tests and procedures. Ability to operate complex medical equipment.
Excellent patient care and communication skills. Proven capability
to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification
as a Cardiovascular Technician from an accredited program. BLS and
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is
preferred.
