MRI Tech like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary and
Qualifications MRI Technologist Our imaging teams are a committed,
caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a
Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to provide magnetic resonance
imaging services to patients performing procedures in a
compassionate and respectful manner. This is a full-time role. If
you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next
career opportunity. As an MRI Technologist under the direction of a
radiologist: You will demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge
of all MRI and associated equipment and obtain high-quality MR
images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
You will facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical
factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare
and administer the appropriate contrast material You will prepare,
transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely
utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated You will
document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain
informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH
accurately and on time You will maintain proactive and effective
communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to
include the radiologist You will check the operation of the
equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent
cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked
with necessary supplies You will accept on-call and call-back
responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care
Qualifications: Registered Technologist by the American Registry or
Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) State of Florida Department of
Health licensure (CRT) 1-3 years of experience Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer
relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling,
read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions,
computer, clerical skills HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is a
