Nurse Manager OR/ Endo / Sterile Processing needed on the Gulf Coast of FL Currently seeking a Manager to join the leadership team. This manager will have operational oversight of the main OR, open heart, Endo and sterile processing. The Manager provides leadership and directs functions of assigned patient care area on a 24 hour basis; ensure effective delivery of clinical patient care and compliance with administrative clinical policies and procedures. This hospital has been serving this west Florida community since 1975 with its comprehensive services, including 24-hour emergency care, cancer care, and robotic surgery. The hospital has earned numerous awards and accreditations, such as a Stroke Center of Excellence accredited by The Joint Commission, as well as an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. • ASN required, BSN preferred
• Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure, BLS
• Previous related experience in related acute setting strongly preferred
• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read and comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions and PC skills. Additional Information
  • FTEs 94
  • Reports to Dir of SS
  • There is also a manager of outpatient
  • 10 OR suites (soon to be 11) (2 CVOR)
  • Aprox 20-25 cases per day
  • MUST HAVE 3-5 years of charge/ supervisor/ lead experience
  • MUST HAVE hospital OR experience (not just surgery center)
