Physician - Pain Medicine Venice, FL ch seeking a BE/BC Pain Management specialist. Group consists of 2 BC Interventional Pain specialists and 2 PAs. This busy practice has been in community for 3 years. Job Overview: Seeking a newly-trained BC/BE interventional pain physician with regional Anesthesia training, preferably experience with perineural catheter placement. Applicants must be Anesthesia trained in an ACGME-accredited residency program. The physician role is responsible for providing medical care to patients in collaboration with the office team and performing hospital consults and inpatient procedures as needed. Necessary Qualifications: -Current MD/DO licensure from an approved accrediting body. -ACLS certification (AHA) -BC/BE (Pain Medicine & Anesthesia) -Regional anesthesia training/experience. -Need to do a mix of IP/OP work -Call schedule as follows: 1:7 1st call, 1:3 2nd call with PA/NP support 2 offices: Venice and Sarasota Market Data shows a shortage of 4 providers in this specialty in service area. 6 Practicing Pain Management physicians in service area currently: 4 outpatient, 2 providing outpatient procedures only by referral.
